Post 16 & Post 18 Providers Involvement

Dear Post 16 and Post 18 Providers,

We are delighted to welcome you to our school and thank you for taking the time to connect with our students. Your presence here plays a crucial role in broadening their horizons and helping them make informed decisions about their future career paths.

Our Commitment to Students
At Trinity Catholic College, we are committed to providing our students with comprehensive career guidance and support. We believe that exposure to a wide range of post-16 and post-18 options is essential for helping our students understand the possibilities available to them, whether that be further education, vocational training, apprenticeships, or direct entry into the workforce.

How You Can Contribute
Your expertise and insights are invaluable to us. By engaging with our students through talks, workshops, and one-on-one interactions, you help them to:

  • Gain a deeper understanding of different career paths
  • Discover the qualifications and skills required for various professions
  • Understand the application processes and timelines
  • Explore the day-to-day realities of different jobs
  • Make connections with professionals in their field of interest

What to Expect
During your visit, you will have the opportunity to interact with students from different year groups who are eager to learn more about their future options. Our careers team has organized various activities to facilitate these interactions, including:

  • Career Fairs: Where you can set up a stall and provide information and resources to students.
  • Workshops: Interactive sessions where you can share your expertise on specific topics.
  • Presentations: Opportunities to speak directly to students about your organization and the opportunities you offer.
  • Q&A Sessions: Where students can ask questions and seek personalized advice.

Support from Our Careers Team

Our careers team is here to support you throughout your visit. If you need any assistance or have specific requirements for your sessions, please do not hesitate to let us know. We are dedicated to making your visit as productive and enjoyable as possible.

Conclusion
Thank you once again for partnering with us to inspire and guide our students. Your involvement is a vital part of our careers education program, and we are grateful for your contribution. Together, we can help our students make informed choices about their futures and achieve their full potential.

Warm regards,
Simon Haugh – Careers Lead
