School Uniform

As a College we expect that a high standard of uniform and personal appearance is maintained at all times. Students are expected to wear their uniform with pride.

Details of school uniform are outlined below together with our ordering arrangements.

GIRLS’ UNIFORM

  • Black Blazer – worn at all times in school
  • Black skirt
  • Black trousers plain black.
  • Tie
  • White blouse – with full collar, top button fastened at all times
  • Black tank top (optional) – no other jumpers/cardigans allowed.
  • Black shoes – not trainers (no stacked heels for safety purposes) – no coloured trims, logos or laces.
  • Plain black tights without pattern, socks white or black only

GIRLS’ PE UNIFORM

  • PE Top (black and gold)
  • Shorts (black)
  • Socks (black with gold lettering)
  • Tracksuit trousers (optional; black)
  • PE jacket (optional; black)
  • PE Leggings (optional; black)
  • Pupils will require a pair of trainers for PE. (Everyday footwear is not allowed in the Gymnasium or Sports Hall).
  • Towel
  • Hair tie for girls with long hair.

 BOYS’ UNIFORM

  • Black Blazer – worn at all times in school

BOYS’ PE UNIFORM

  • PE Top (black and gold)
  • Shorts (black)
  • Socks (black with gold lettering)
  • Rugby Shirt (optional; black and gold)
  • Track suit trousers (optional; black)
  • PE Jacket (optional; black)
  • Football boots
  • Pupils will require a pair of trainers for PE. (Everyday footwear is not allowed in the Gymnasium or Sports Hall).
  • Towel

 

  • Make-up and jewellery should not be worn in school (this includes body piercings).
  • Extremes of hair style are not permitted, e.g. shaven, severe haircuts/colours, hair extensions, patterned/dyed etc.  The decision on the severity of a haircut is at the school’s discretion.
  • No decorative accessories; plain bobbles and hair bands only
  • During cold weather coats to be worn outside only.
  • All uniform to be marked with pupil’s name.

SECONDHAND UNIFORM

We hold a small stock of donated uniform that pupils will be issued in exchange for something that will be returned at the end of the school day.  PEO’s have access to the EcoShop for other uniform as well.  Please speak to the year group PEO to discuss this further.
