Catholic Social Teaching

Due to the distinctive nature of our school, one of our core duties is to shape and form young people into moral citizens who will go on to build a just and united society. One way we do this as a Catholic community is to live out Catholic Social Teaching.

Catholic Social Teachings are the key teachings of the Church which show us how to live out our faith and create a just a loving world, by putting Gospel values into action in social, economical and political life. Catholic Social Teaching is our chance to foster a
sense of resilience and compassion in our students, so that they may go out into the world as fully equipped adults. It gives them the understanding to follow Jesus, the compassion to build working and caring families and the drive and resilience to fulfil their God given potential.

We have picked 8 Catholic Social Teachings which fit out specific mission and charism:

#TrinityFamilyWe’re incredibly proud to celebrate another strong set of A level results at Trinity Sixth Form. From exceptional STEM outcomes and top grades to outstanding achievements in Sport, our T6 students have shown what hard work, dedication and ambition can achieve.

A huge congratulations to Isaac, Pearl, Lennon, Julia and Alex, who are all heading on to exciting next steps — from Medicine and English Literature at university to careers, apprenticeships and semi-professional sport. 🌟

Well done to all our students and staff for an incredible year of achievement! 👏
