#TrinityFamilyWe’re incredibly proud to celebrate another strong set of A level results at Trinity Sixth Form. From exceptional STEM outcomes and top grades to outstanding achievements in Sport, our T6 students have shown what hard work, dedication and ambition can achieve.
A huge congratulations to Isaac, Pearl, Lennon, Julia and Alex, who are all heading on to exciting next steps — from Medicine and English Literature at university to careers, apprenticeships and semi-professional sport. 🌟
Well done to all our students and staff for an incredible year of achievement! 👏

Now that A Level results are out, it’s time to turn our attention to our GCSE students and their upcoming Results Day! 💛🖤
📅 GCSE Results Day – Thursday 20th August ⏰ Results available from 9:00am–10:30am
For parents and carers, the GCSE grading system can sometimes feel a little confusing. GCSEs in England now use the 9–1 grading system, rather than the old A*–G grades.
A quick guide:
* 9 is the highest grade, above the old A* * 7–9 broadly cover the old A/A* range * 4 is a standard pass, broadly equivalent to the old C * 5 is considered a strong pass * 1 is the lowest numbered grade * U means ungraded
And if your child doesn’t receive the grades they were hoping for, there are still plenty of options. Speak to the school about their next steps. Depending on their chosen course, students who need to improve English and/or Maths may be able to continue these alongside their studies, while routes such as BTECs, vocational qualifications and apprenticeships can also provide fantastic opportunities.
Most importantly, results are just one part of a young person’s journey. Whatever Thursday brings, school staff will be there to offer advice, discuss the options available and help students decide what comes next.
⭐ Wishing all of our Year 11 students the very best of luck for GCSE Results Day!
